Well I have just got back from doing the school run! It is lethal out there! We had more snowy down pours and rain last night hit by below freezing temperatures. I don't know how we made it there without falling over! But hey, we survived to tell the tale - phew! 

Today I have such a delightful craft to share with you. 

We have the lovely Alison Sizmur joining us today sharing some adorable Penguin Footprint Cards she has made with the children to take home over the festive period. Alison is a childminder based in Little Hampton. Working with her husband, they have over 20 years experience and love what they do. 

If you follow us over on Instagram you will have seen the beautiful new book storage we have for Neves books. Its been a great way to organise key stories that are relevant to the time of years and interests Neve has. It holds an impressive 30 odd stories!
Over the last few months we have had Christmas stories and stories set in Winter popped inside our book display. Now Christmas has passed us by and Neve becoming interested in Space - I have replaced the Christmas books with Space themed stories. Its been great! A couple of stories Neve has been enjoying have been penguin related which led me to set up a Penguin Small World.

It's not long now until the Night Before Christmas. How has the Christmas shopping gone for you this year? I always promise myself to not leave anything till the last minute, but that always happens. I have to say, I've found being in the hustle and bustle today rather pleasant. That could be because I ventures out alone while Daddy had the children. I actually can't recall the last time I was out alone.

Life gets busy. Time with people we love more than anything can sometimes get pushed aside, as we attempt the never ending laundry piles, take on extra shifts at work and so on. I recently saw a post over on Facebook that really got me thinking. A lady had given her children the gift of time for Christmas. I was so taken back at the thought that had gone into this that I am making myself commit to doing a New Years version every single year for my children.

It is so easy to get lost in the world of Pinterest. Christmas will soon roll round and I have found myself finding some awesome Christmas DIY decorations. I just had to bring them all together and show you some of the brilliant ideas I have come across. From indoor to outdoor.... this post has it all....
