Schools are closed but it doesn't mean an end to education! Spring is here and it's time to start planting your seeds ready for your summer blooms!

Last year I had the pleasure of being the ambassador for a Get out and Grow campaign hosted by Sudocrem. I am very passionate about nature and encouraging children to enjoy gardening and appreciate all it has to offer, so I am thrilled the time has come round again! The campaign this year is called Back to the Garden and I can't wait to share with you all it has in store.

It also has fantastic social and emotional benefits too as being outdoors in general improves mood and brings about a sense of calm. It brings about lots of wonderful learning experiences and decreases anxiety.

I want to share with you a wonderful, quick and easy set up today that doesn't cost a penny. You can use materials you already have at home!

With young children around, convenience is often essential to keeping the day as stress free as possible. This activity took me just 2 minutes to gather the materials, the set up was done by two 2 year olds along with the clean up!

Oh and the bonus? It kept two very busy boys with usually fleeting attention busy and engaged for over 40 minutes!
