Halloween Cards

Today we have been busy making Halloween cards for our family and friends.

I made these last year with Little N too.

Little N loves her painting so I find that Google searching images to 'colour in' and then printing them out for painting is great to do activities like this!

She was really excited to paint the Pumpkins.

We have been busy growing our own this year and I have put a few decorations up a few days early too so she's been enjoying pointing them out too.

You may recall a post I shared recently where we painted using 'water bomb balloons'.
It was the first time we had ever done it and proved to be a hit!
The balloons were a perfect size for little hands.

It was these painted Pumpkins that I used to create the cards. I cut them out once they were dry, stuck them to the front of some black card and I created an insert that I stuck inside.

Little N used a glue stick then to add some gold glitter.

We put them into envelopes and set about writing who they were for.

Some of the cards needed to be posted and Little N really enjoyed her walk down to the Post Office with her Grandad to post them in the big red post box.

Some of the cards were given out to people at our Halloween Party this year.
