Halloween Treat Bags

This year I decided to create some Halloween treat bags for the guests at our party and the Trick or Treaters who paid us a visit throughout the evening too.

I purchased the bags from Amazon and had been busy buying lots of chocolate, sweeties and little toys for the bags. In addition to this I had also printed off and laminated some Halloween joke cards.

I opened all the bags up on the table and Little N helped select the goodies. She really enjoyed dropping them into the bags and helping to get them all ready.

She enjoyed it more than I anticipated she would actually.

Once they had all the contents inside I folded them over and used tape to keep them shut.

I had been online and selected some Halloween Free Printable Tags for the bags which I printed off and laminated. (I will try to re-find the link for these).

I used tape to stick these down too, they looked very effective on the bags.

In addition to the treat bags, I also made some 'Pumpkin Poop' bags.

I had also found these labels as a free printable.

I purchased bags with a spider web design on Amazon again and filled them with 'cheesy balls' 150g for £1 in the supermarkets.
I used 2 bags to fill 6 smaller treat bags.

I tied the bags shut with food bag ties to help keep the air out and went on to use use black curling ribbon to attach the lables. I cut two slits the width of the ribbon using a crafting knife, I did this on a granite surface. I threaded the ribbon through, tied and curled it. Again they looked effective and brought a smile to the childrens and adults faces.

Next year I plan to do some more Pumpkin Poop along with some more designs.

Here are some Amazon Affiliate links for your convenience.
