Edible Witches Hat

Little N still hasn't lost interest in witches since our her last Halloween! Almost a year on!
She regularly pops on her witches dress and is always mentioning witches in her play. It's pretty sweet! Her eyes light up when a witch features in a story and you bet Room on the Broom is a firm favorite of hers!

She has started helping in the kitchen. She loves making sandwiches and helping to chop and peel vegetables! So I thought I would offer the opportunity to create these cute witches hat.

We started by heading to the shops.

You will need:
Ice cream cones
Chocolate to melt
Pretties - sprinkles, 100's and 1000's, edible stars etc
You dont need much to create these and its a perfect activity for all the family. No matter what age everyone will enjoy creating their very own edible witches hat!
Here are some of our cones:

So, this week why not add a few extras to the weekly shop, and enjoy a family night in making your edible hats! You could even consider this activity for a play date!

Its not a snack that screams out healthy eating, but the naughty but nice stuff is ok in moderation. It's not saying you have to eat your creations either. You could just enjoy making them together!
