Witches Boots Halloween Art

Witches Boots Halloween Art

Halloween is on the horizon and I have some fantastic crafts and activities to share with you over the coming weeks. First up are these wonderful witch feet/legs We have a template that is available to download below. There is no right or wrong way to create. You could do lines using a ruler like we have, draw lines free hand. You could look at doing dots, or patterns. Just let your creativity flow!

First thing is first - what is needed to do this activity?

Very low prep for this activity and hopefully you have all you need to enjoy it right away.
Once you have downloaded and printed out the witch boot template you are ready to start creating. Use a ruler or free hand to begin drawing lines within the areas as shown above.

You want to try and keep the lines within the lined areas on the template. You will need to concentrate to make sure you don't go over the lines and end up in another area.

You can look at changing the direction of your lines to really mic things up. Keep going until all areas have been filled up completely. When you have finished drawing your lines/patterns it's time to start colouring in.

Colour the stripy tights, skirt and background all different shades of bold colours so they really stand out against the black. The colours will really start to pop and make your artwork eye catching.

You can then looking at cutting the border down on your drawing and add it to some black construction paper or card. Once finished, cut the excess border off the template and glue onto black construction paper or card. You could also look at printing this half size and turn these into fun, unique Halloween cards!
