Today I am writing this post for a very special reason and I would like to tell you a little more background on it. As a blogger I work with other bloggers quite often. We work together to talk about our ideas, blog hops and together we come together to offer support and guidance. Its a lovely network of inspirational people and I am very proud to be apart of that.

Sadly Jill who blogs over at Enchanted Homeschooling Mom is very unwell at the moment and has some health issues. This means she is having to take a step back from her wonderful blog for the near future at least.

If you haven't heard of Enchanted Homeschooling Mom before its a blog that posts 3-4 times a day 7 days a week! Its pretty fair to say she has a wide range of great content and today I want to share some of them with you!

Seaside Small World Tuff Tray

Today we welcome Clare to Learning and Exploring Through Play. She stops by to share with us the fabulous seaside small world she recently created for her Toddler.

Hello I am Clare and I live in Norfolk. I am a busy working Mother of 5 lovely children. My eldest four are all teenagers now so I know how very quickly they grow up! Our youngest is 2 and a half at the moment, so I am busy making the most of his Toddler years. I know how soon they'll be gone and then who will I play with?

We love messy play and I always have one project or another going on for Roman. From Papier Mache pumpkin costumes to huge elephant sculptures taking over the living room, (my poor husband).

I’ve only very recently discovered the world of Tuff Trays, and I’m now hooked! I have gone completely tuff tray crazy and me and my little boy love it!

17 Awesome Cardboard Box Creations

If your little one is anything like mine you can buy toy after toy after toy, but nothing will amuse them like a cardboard box!

In fact you haven't even got to do anything with the cardboard box for them to enjoy a great deal of time with it. Climbing in and out and hiding in their den - children become content and occupied.

Her love my medicine

Life with a Toddler can be busy, hectic, stressful and very fun. Things seem to move at 100 miles an hour and in the calmer moments you're left feeling rather emotional wondering where you baby has gone. Looking on observing your Toddler you question where the months have gone. Your toddler is now very keen to have as much independence as possible and will protest if you attempt to step in. Their character is blossoming, their energy is in abundance.

My Little Pony Small World Shoe Box

You may have recently seen a post from us where we created a Frozen Inspired Small World using a shoe box. Little N really enjoyed the set up and spent much longer than I thought she would playing independently, imagining and acting our various stories, both in her head and out loud.

Giant Bubbles Recipe

Giant Bubbles Recipe Make your own Giant Bubbles

No matter what your age, we can't help but be mesmerised by bubbles!
Whether you have a babe in arms who enjoys watching them as they graciously float down or a toddler who stumbles through them excitedly - they bring joy. They make us giggle and as grown ups there is always that challenge of who can blow the most or biggest bubbles!

We take to the outdoors all year round really. We brave all elements and enjoy exploring what they have to offer. I know many of you are the same! I am loving getting to know you in our Group and Instagram! Now the weather is on the up more and more time will be spent enjoying the fresh air in the garden (or out and about).

4th of July Arts and Crafts for Toddlers and Preschoolers

4th of July Arts and Crafts for Toddlers and Preschoolers

We have been busy this week enjoying different types of art for the 4th of July - Independence Day.
Independence Day is celebrated in America. It is a holiday celebrating the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Americans celebrate by gathering with their friends and family. Having BBQ's and parties. There are often fireworks and bonfires as part of their celebrations.
Although Little N is a Toddler that doesn't mean we cant touch upon things that are happening around the world.
We have been enjoying lots of arts and crafts and today I want to share with you 5 very simple but lots of fun activities that are perfect for Toddlers for Independence Day....

Rocky Road Small World

We have been having such a heatwave in the UK at the moment. We visited a local spot by a River bed by where we live. Little N has such fun splashing in the water and throwing rocks.
We collected a few before we left and brought them back home.
